October 2007 VideoZine
We had a great time at Skip
McGrath's Boot Camp!

eBay Boot Camp
Wish you could have made it. For
those who couldn't I've been posting bits about the two day event on
my blog - you can catch up. I plan on posting more as soon as I have a
chance. You can find my
blog here.
Also, watch for exciting
news about the DVD release. We had a videographer there to record the
whole event and will make it available soon.
This month we have TWO videos for you. One on Auctiva. While
at boot camp I found the most asked question about Auctiva was: "How do
you move the scrolling gallery to the bottom of the listing?"
So... I thought it would make a great video.
The second one, done by
Dany Byrne from GhostLeg.com answered my big question: How to you make
those little icons in the explorer bar? Watch for my new icon soon! Be
the first to spot it on this website CloverCitysells.com and I'll send you an EZ Auction Briefcase. Check
back daily. When you see it, send me an email - the first one wins.

AuctionTNT Video
AuctionTNT is a nifty site
that Platinum Power Seller Mike Enos created with a lot
of great features. They include audio and video hosting, FAME (a
feedback tool for testimonials), dropshiping sources and photo slide
makers for auction listings. The video
tool is still not on the approved list for eBay but I'm sure Mike is
working on it. Meanwhile, I used the audio tool to add voice to one of
my web pages and found the sell- through-rate increased to thirty
percent. Not bad for a page that the industry average is less than 10%.
I've found the AuctionTNT
tools easy to use. If you are interested, Mike is offering a trail
membership for a $1.00

Exciting News About
Photo Story!
I received lots of requests for
replays of the four part series on Video for eBay Dany
Byrne, Janelle Elms & I gave last month. I guess
it was a big hit! Thanks everyone for the great response - we really
enjoyed presenting it for you. If you still want to see a replay of a
missed episode please watch for news - I think we may be able to accommodate
you.
One part of the presentation that got LOTS of
interest was the Photo Story demonstration Dany Byrne did. It wooed
many! It turns out Photo Story is one of Dany's favorite tools and it
didn't take much to twist her arm into giving us a more in depth look at
it. In the last few weeks she's been working like crazy to create a
DVD full of useful tips about using Photo Story, especially aimed at
eBay sellers.
If you want to improve your
sell through rate with more interactive videos in your listing but are
not ready to jump into using a video camera Photo Story will create
full motion slide shows with music or voice narration.

It should start shipping on
Oct 22. The regular price will be $14.95. If you buy it directly
through Ghost Leg, you’ll get a $2.00 discount. Ghost Leg price is
$12.95
However - if you pre-order,
you’ll not only receive the special, Ghost Leg discounted price of $12.95
but you’ll receive Free Shipping as well.
Once the DVD begins shipping, this offer will end - so don’t delay.
