eBay Still Tops The Chart
Of The Top Ten Unique Visitors On Shopping Sites!
More than three-quarters (78%) of adult online consumers in the US made some type of purchase over the web in the previous six months,
according to (pdf = http://www.nielsen-online.com/pr/pr_081112.pdf) a survey from Nielsen Online.
The number one transaction category for shoppers online is travel at 38% of unique purchases then followed by
clothes, books and auctions. Those are the
kind of things we sell, it's not all gloom and doom for eBay
sellers!
Most interesting, is the chart that shows buyers still find eBay their number one
destination - followed closely by Amazon in the number two spot.
This is an interesting read, especially "Most consumers see online retail as a
primary benefit of the Internet. The sheer convenience of being able to comparison shop form your home or office has become all but
irresistible....."
While bricks and mortar stores are in a state of panic over the economy
- this survey is a bright spot for us online merchants!

From Dany's email:
"We'll be doing a

finalized. But it will give you an idea of some of the big changes
about to take place with WordPress."
During eBay Live, I
asked as many sellers as possible to give me their favorite
marketing tip. Over the next several weeks I'll let them tell you,
in their words, their favorite eBay marketing tip. Watch my blog,
YouTube, TwitterFacebook
or your email inbox for the latest video.
We've had so much interest in a Photo

PhotoShop Elements.
We're just not sure which version of
Elements would be most beneficial to you. Would you mind taking a five minute
survey and let us know? Click Here to take survey.
There will be three tracks to choose: Basic,
Intermediate, Advanced. These classes will meet weekly and we will teach them in
order if you want to talk all three courses. Watch this newsletter for details.
Join me on Twitter! I've
just discovered a new way to stay in touch: Twitter. I've heard of
the site, but never bothered checking it out. Now that I have, I
can't believe how easy it is and how little time it takes to be
'social.'
