It took a little persistence, but I found a Flip Video provider. I am now offering these wonderful, easy to use video cameras in my eBay Store and here on the site. These cameras make it easy to shoot short videos, upload to YouTube and then embed them into your eBay listings.

If you are interested in purchasing I have created a bundle that includes our seminar about creating videos for eBay and the Flip Video camcorder. Click here to pre-order yours now.

A quick side note:
If you've ever heard me talk about product sourcing I'm sure you've heard me say "Once you find a supplier for one product, you'll often find that the same supplier carries other complementary items as well."

I just wanted to say that it's no different this time. The Flip Video supplier I found also has cameras available. I've found other suppliers for cameras, but have found their mark-up is too large and mine too small to make the risk worth the investment. I need to investigate more, but I think I may finally be able to offer digital cameras at an affordable price. I know many of my subscribers have asked me to help them choose cameras - this will make it a win-win for us all. I'll be able to offer the ones I think will provide the best results for eBay sellers and you'll be able to buy them from a trusted supplier (me).

eBay Live! Update - The Unofficial eBay Live Photo Walk

How about the First Unofficial eBay Live Photo Walk? Want to join me on this free tour? I took my Life Long Learning students out for a photo walk last week and we had a ball! The students had a chance to practice what I've been teaching while I helped point to different dials and functions on their cameras. We're going to do a review this week of the photos and I can't wait to see them!

What's a Photo Walk? Wikipedia - describes “Photowalking is the act of walking with a camera for the main purpose of taking pictures of things you may find interesting.”
More about it at Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photowalking

It's a pretty simple concept, but very effective. For you to become better (at anything, but especially photography) it takes practice. Spending an hour or two once in awhile looking at stuff and clicking the shutter can greatly improve your skills. My idea is that we'll practice with our cameras and walk off some of those great meals we're going to have while in Chicago.

My North Seattle Community College student photowalk this April ~ we had a great time took lots of campus photos and learned new things about cameras.

Are There Legitimate Ways To Make Money Online From Your Home Computer?

A $15.00 a month investment that offers big returns

With so many 'get rich quick' schemes these days, it's no wonder one of the biggest search phrases used is: "honest ways to make money online."

Yes, there are lots of reputable ways to make an honest income or just make a little extra cash on the Internet.

This month I thought I'd talk about a different twist on the newsletter angle. As many of you know I enjoy photography - no kidding - LOL. When I find a site I like I sign up for their newsletter. One site I signed up for sends me regular sales updates via their newsletter.

The thing that makes this so unique is that I receive weekly internet specials on camera equipment. I don't have to watch for the sales myself or comb through shopping comparison sites. I check this newsletter and when that compact flash card I want comes on sale I just the click link and I'm there. It's in a nice, neat format with thumbnail pictures I can browse quickly through this newsletter.

But you're saying: "what does this have to do with making money online?" The interesting thing about this newsletter is the way the author makes money. It's in the links. Each link is an affiliate link, so when someone clicks and buys - they receive a payout to their commission junction account. The author finds the deals, creates the trackable codes with the help of Commission Junction and puts them into the newsletter.

You'd think their email would end up mostly flagged as spam - but I'll bet the CameraTown opt out rate is very low. I, for one, look forward to these very skim-able newsletters and open every one (I don't do this with any other regular newsletters).

They use a newsletter service Constant Contact. Constant Contact has easy to use templates. You don't need to know HTML to have a nice looking newsletter. They also take care of subscriptions and unsubscribes. The entry level rate is $15.00 a month.

The trick with this type of newsletter is to find a subject that people are passionate about and have money to spend. Photography is perfect, but so is fishing, crafting, cooking and more.

This simple way to make an income requires a minimum investment: $15.00 Constant Contact newsletter account, a Free Blog with posts about your topic and your Constant Contact Newsletter sign-up form and the time to look for deals. (Of course you could set up Google alerts - which would reduce the time spent).

This easy way to make extra income provides a time saving service to readers and costs you next to nothing to start. No inventory purchases, no websites with shopping carts or eBay fees. Just a little research each week and a newsletter service provider. It really is pretty simple.

Interested in Writing A Book?
Dany Byrne author of Elegant eBooks is giving a seminar in Everett WA

If you've ever dreamed of seeing your work in print, discover how easy it is to publish and market your own book.

Digital technology has revolutionized the way books are printed. Where press runs were once done for tens of thousands of books, now "Print On Demand" (POD) technology makes small press runs profitable.

POD is not a new name for vanity press. It is a technology that puts professional publishing within the reach of anyone who can master a few tools. Authors no longer need to produce blockbusters - or even mid-list sellers - to reach an audience.

Niche markets for regional cookbooks, poetry books, new or experimental fiction, romance books, children's books, and speculative fiction offer great new opportunities for authors who self-publish their work. And the internet makes it possible to market these books to a world-wide audience.

Have You Been To My Blog Lately?

No? Well, please check it out. Last week I talked about finding a product that will sell by using a trade magazine. I found an item with a 68% STR (sell through rate) on eBay. Earlier this month I talked about a product you may find at the local garage sale that will sell no matter what condition - the reason why? This company offers a unlimited life time warranty. Click here to read my blog.

That's it for this week,
