Last year I had
the pleasure to get to know, spend time with, and become friends
with, a brilliant eBay teacher, CJ Jacinto.
CJ retired early to sell
on eBay. XOXMAS is one of the few sellers who's trading assistant
work is thriving. She's sold items from collectible chalkware to
celebrity fashion and everything in between.
While today she loves
selling used goods and collectibles, her life long passion - what
makes her a treasure trove of knowledge - is her former work. CJ
spent her career as a buyer for several large retail corporations.
CJ worked her way up from a shelf stalker & cashier to running
a large acquisitions department. She spent her working life going to trade shows, negotiating with
vendors and finding products. Her quest for the best prices and
products took her all over the country and around the world,
including China. CJ knows how to find
products that others haven't got a clue about finding. She's the
first to tell you, looking on the Internet for the best wholesale
products may be easy, but isn't the best method.
You know, what makes her
even better (lots & lots things about her, but) for us in the Seattle area, I
mean. She has family up here. And one of her grandchildren
is getting married in April.
Which got me to thinkin.... What if
we could talk CJ into swinging by and teaching us some product
sourcing techniques?
So, I called her up and
asked, "If I can make it worth your while, would you come
teach us?" And, she said yes. I know CJ is
generous to a fault, but I really don't want to impose on her (too
much). She has a thriving business to take care of and extra days
away cut into her profit margin.
Here's the deal. Before
CJ and I go any farther in planning I'm throwing this question out
to my Puget Sound Area readers, or anyone who wants to travel to
the Seattle area. Would you sign up for a product
sourcing class?
Date: Monday April 6th.
If we get enough yeses, I'll book the room and set up a place to
for you to buy tickets.
Because CJ will have to
take time off and will need to book a hotel room - (I'd love her
and her partner MJ to stay with me - but cat and dog allergies
prevent it) and I'll have to pay to book the room and we'll
have a few other expenses - the tuition will be around $80.00 to $100.00 per
person, depending on how much interest there is.
So, please factor that in as well.
Please help us determine
if there is enough interest by taking two seconds to click on this
link and answer two questions "yes" or "no" at
survey monkey.
That said, let's get on
with the newsletter.

Exciting
News!
I've just finished a new
DVD tutorial outlining how to Make Money With eBay Affiliate
Web Sites.
According to the Marketing Sherpa over 6 Billion dollars was paid in affiliate income in 2006. Currently on the eBay Partner Network that are over 50,000 members generating affiliate sales, and you could join the ranks. Widgets are a simple way to create great looking content that your visitors will click on.
Using the eBay Partner Network (EPN) many affiliates have
generated huge incomes. It's reported that the top 20 EPN
affiliates make over $1,000,000 per month. Now, I'm not saying
you'll instantly make a million, but this tutorial will show you
how to set up a site that has the potential for some serious extra
income.
This easy, step-by-step guide to setting up your eBay widgets will show you how to:
How to sign up for the eBay Partner Network
How to get a web hosting account
How to add a domain to that account
How to direct (or point) your domain to your new web hosting account
How to put an eBay widget on your website
How to create you own unique website for the widgets using free software
How to upload your new site so the world can see it
How and where to market your site
How to list your sites on Yahoo.com and Google.com
We'll also show you the different types of eBay Widgets and how they will be most effective and profitable for your website or blog.
As an introduction I'm
offering it for $24.95
plus FREE shipping. The price will go up as soon as I release
it to affiliates and put it up for sale on Amazon and eBay. If
you are ready to make money without investing lots of capital in
inventory - grab this tutorial.

During eBay Live, I
asked as many sellers as possible to give me their favorite
marketing tip. Over the next several weeks I'll let them tell you,
in their words, their favorite eBay marketing tip. Watch my blog,
YouTube, Twitter,

Bonanzle
& Amazon FBA
I had a very busy week
last week. Janelle
Elms and I taught a class about the ins and out of fulfillment
by Amazon. It's one online service I plan to continue to expand in
2009.
Then, Mark
Dorsey Chief Raconteur from Bonanzle agreed to an interview,
which I promised to keep around a half an hour. Turns out, I was
so excited about the site I kept him on the line for about an
hour! I can't thank Mark enough for taking the time out of his
busy day for the interview.
I'll have both videos up
in the members area of websellers circle sometime this week.
Between doing taxes and teaching local classes, it may take a few
days - but please keep an eye out for them.
To gain access, sign up
to the members only area by going to:
http://websellerscircle.com
- and look for the 'join the web sellers circle' form
Remember - access is free, but you do need to sign up to enter.
