We had a great eBay Success Meeting last Thursday. We
shot a video of eBay seller Carol Hearn from Wandering Creek Antiques talking about
her Estate Find
Jewelry. We used a Flip Video
camera and everyone
was impressed with how easy it was to shot and
upload to YouTube. I think a few people went right home and purchased
one. I've been trying to get in
contact with the distributor to see if I can become a reseller.
If you know anyone in the company, please say a good word for me. If I get
authorization to resell I plan to offer a Flip Video
camera bundle, including information about how to use video to your
advantage, for my subscribers. Keep an eye out.

eBay Live! Update
I'm really excited! I've been asked to be part of
the eBay Education Specialist Panel called: Teach Others To Sell On eBay on
Saturday June 21st. If you are coming to Live, I'd love to have you there. I'll
be speaking alongside eBay sellers: mltring,
xoxmas &
brooklynbooks.
I can hardly wait to be among this group of successful sellers.
Speaking of eBay Live! classes, I just went over the eBay Live! schedule and
saw only one photography class during the whole three day event and NO video classes. I'm a
little surprised because you just can't compete online without a great
looking product photo. Soon it will be the same for video. You remember TV don't
you? Well, like it or not, people love videos and it's going to become important
to have them in your seller's toolbox.
Which got me to thinking: there's nothing I can do about
the eBay Live! schedule - but, maybe I can do a little to help improve your
camera skills and still have fun at eBay Live! How about the First Unofficial
eBay Live Photo Walk?
What's a Photo Walk? Wikipedia - describes “Photowalking is the act of walking with a camera for the main purpose of taking pictures of things you may find
interesting.”
More about it at Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photowalking
It's a pretty simple concept, but very
effective. For you to become better (at anything, but especially photography) it takes practice.
Spending an hour or two once in awhile looking at stuff and clicking the shutter can
greatly improve your skills. My idea
is that we'll practice with our cameras and walk off some of those great meals we're going to
have while in Chicago.

Live! Photo Walk please Click Here to take

New Video from Dany Byrne at Ghost Leg Media
Anyone who creates videos for YouTube, eBay, a Blog, etc to help market and brand your business
will enjoy this tutorial about creating a title card.
Dany Byrne has a new video to help you to quickly
create a title card for your Camtasia or video screencasts. A title card can
brand your video and tell people where to find you. That's the main point of
using video to drive traffic to your site - for new viewers to find you.
Having your business URL prominently placed at the beginning and end of your video
will do just that.
Click the player below to see her video or click
here to play

And here's news of a new project from Dany:
Ghost Leg Media is hard at work on our next DVD for eBay sellers and
entrepreneurs - a step by step instructional DVD that will show you how to create You Tube videos that not only look good but pay off with more sales and higher traffic to your web site or eBay store. In the coming weeks, we'll release short videos that will give you a sample of what will be covered in the DVD.
The first in this series is now available at:
http://www.ghostleg.com/endtitle-flv/endtitle-flv.html
It will show you how to create eye catching title cards for your videos that will bring buyers to your store while promoting your products.
Look for new videos in this series every week. And watch for the release of the DVD!
Updates will be posted on the Ghost Leg
video Blog : http://www.ghostleg.com/blog
