A QUICK NOTE BEFORE WE START - IF YOU CAN'T SEE PHOTOS - THIS NEWSLETTER IS AVAILABLE ONLINE AT www.clovercitysells.com/March09-news-3.htm

Cliff Ennico and I received the page proofs for the eBay Marketing Bible. This is the first time we've seen it as it will look in book form. It's starting to feel really, well, real - LOL!

We had lots of help from eBay sellers who graciously allowed us to use their stores as examples. These stores are fantastic examples of how to brand and market an eBay business. To share with you, starting in this newsletter I thought I'd highlight the stores. Read below for our first installment.

Things are moving along for the Web Sellers' Circle membership site as well. Last week Dany Byrne & I talked to David in Scotland.  He will help us set up the membership software. He's with membergate - an established membership site software company. They have hundreds of individual and corporate clients, including  Zappos and GM.

I'm pretty excited about it. We'll be running the latest version, which means easier to use forums and a very web 2.0 interface - think facebook.

There's still time to get in as a charter member - we're offering lifetime memberships, plus some great incentives to the first 25 subscribers. We only have a few spots left - if you're interested, please visit http://websellerssecret.com for more details.

Tell eBay Your Story and win $5,000

Have an eBay success story you'd like to share with others? eBay wants you to add it to their Stellar Sellers group.

You can join the ranks of Carolyn 'CJ' Janinto who became an eBay seller after years as a buying manager. Or Mary Ann Lowden who found eBay by accident and is now a Trading Assistant and eBay Education Specialist.

Head on over to http://success.ebay.com to enter - or just read a few inspirational eBay stories.

Want to start building a passive income generator?

The newly released "Make Money with eBay Affiliate Web Sites" is selling really well and if you haven't purchased yours yet - read on.

I just received this wonderful email from Cindy Hamilton of Bombay Bongo:

The "Make Money with eBay Affiliate Web Sites" training on DVD is
absolutely full of concrete information that I started using right away.
I'm a seasoned eBay seller with two eBay Stores, but I never before
explored how I might use eBay's affiliate program. How to create a website
or blog outside of eBay was also new territory for me. This DVD is so
helpful as it is full of many screen shots to follow as you create your own
affiliate site. The instructions are clear, concise, and reassuring. I
even used this DVD to help me open my first account with a web hosting
company.

I'm so glad I got this new business tool! I look forward to establishing
multiple affiliate sites, each with a passive stream of income.

If you still haven't picked up your copy of the DVD I'm including a bonus eBook called:

Mining For Gold On The Internet With The Niche Detector

This eBook walks you through step-by-step how to drill down and find a profitable niche. With a few tools and a little detective work this book helps you avoid unprofitable areas and shows you how to zero in on products people want and will pay money for.

But hurry, this eBook has great information I know many people would pay dearly for. I'm considering pulling this bonus book and putting it up for sale as a stand alone item.

What's A Bonanzle Up?

Glad you asked! It’s a grass roots event born from the Bonanzle.com forums.

It started as a few members suggesting they get together for lunch and went viral….

Wichita - May 23th
Mobile - May 30th
This event is still taking shape, but one thing we know for sure is it will be fun. Co-founder Mark Dorsey will be in Seattle and promises to broadcast live for an hour at other upcoming events. He’s making himself available to answer questions about the site.

This week for the Web Sellers' Circle I Interviewed:

Sharon Ware is an expert designer and in addition to teaching all things eBay, her specialty is eBay store set up or make-overs, SEO for eBay stores, set up of newsletter marketing, custom template design, training on Inkfrog, Auctiva, Sellersourcebook, Turbo Lister, Keepmore.net, Worldwide Brands, affiliate marketing, setting up a business and social networking, and I'm sure other things I just can't remember right now, LOL. Better yet, she can easily train you no matter where in the world you are located. She recently finished a job for a seller in Italy and another in Canada who wanted to sell in Germany.

Sharon sent me over some statistics about her design work - before and after. I love to hear hard facts about whether or not designing a store makes a difference. She has the proof. I'm not going to tell you here because I asked her to do a fifteen minute demo about her findings. Keep an eye out we'll put the interview up in the Web Sellers Circle.

Meanwhile, if you are looking for a store make-over contact Sharon at www.DandelionConsulting.com

Jamie Parkins from Vzaar.com - Jamie showed us some great examples of eBay sellers using video in their listings and then highlighted the many uses for their video player outside the eBay word. The vzaar service isn't just for eBay - if you sell on Bonanzle, your own website or blog you can use vzaar to host your videos. The advantage - a professional looking video player with no ads that drive buyers away from your listing (like youtube uses).

Jamie walked us through putting the video into the eBay listing and on a blog - and they've made it pretty easy!

Vzaar has several hosting plans - including a free plan - so don't write them off because you think it'll cost too much.

Both of these interviews will be up soon at the websellerscircle.com in the membership area (it's still free so if you want to see them act fast). Meanwhile, if you haven't had a chance to check out the webinar I did with the folks from Vendio.com about their service for multi-channel selling, including their new store, please check it out.

One Last Word...

This really has nothing to do with selling online - but spring is almost here and I can hardly wait to start gardening again. I know many of my friends on this list are gardeners too. I've started to dust off my tools and noticed they're a little dull. To get our tools ready for planting I just wanted to show you this great garden tool sharpener I found on eBay from one of our very own Web Sellers' Members - AlphaBargains.
