Snow for New
Years?
I'm starting to feel like
we're in Minnesota Alaska!
Yesterday, on word from the
local news that the snow was over, we headed out to meet a friend
visiting from Georgia. I spent an hour shoveling the four foot snow
drift against the driveway gate to get the car clear, and we all piled
in for the trip.
That looks a lot like snow to me.. taken
from the car window as we headed out to lunch.
As we slipped down the alley
to the plowed road this weird, familiar, white stuff started falling.
The weather reporters had to
admit, that maybe that stuff was snow - but that it was to turn to
rain soon. However, Seattleites shouldn't get to comfortable with the warmer
temperatures, snow is predicted for New Year's Eve.
We haven't had weather like
this since the 1800's --- this truly is an abnormal year.
I hope you
